If you have received one of the following the Errors and Warnings, then you need to follow this process to have the record transferred to your office.
NHI number is a duplicate value but must be unique
Checking record location and status
1: From the 'Hom'e page, select the 'Reports' module.
2: Select the report called 'File Location Report'.
3: Add the person’s NHI into the 'NHI' field.
4: Click on 'View Report'.
5: The report will detail the current location of the record (iAS office), District, and whether the record is active or inactive.
Actions based on report information
1: If the record is in another organisation:
- Contact your local NASC service to have the file transferred to you.
2: If the record is inactive, and in your organisation/facility office:
- Search for the client making sure the ‘Record status’ is set to 'All'.
- Community: Add a new case to make the file active, more information can be found here.
- Aged residential care: Admit the person to a bed to make the file active, more information can be found here.
3: Record is active in your organisation:
- Search for the client, more help can be found here.
