MDS Assessment Functional Performance Trends (iAS)

LTCF residents only

The interRAI Assessment Software includes a feature called MDS / Assessment Functional Performance Trends.

This feature provides an overview of a resident’s:

current assessment items
outcome scales
changes since the previous assessment

It allows health professionals to review trends in a person’s functional performance to help determine whether current interventions have been successful, or to track the resident’s condition over time.

Important note:

The MDS / Assessment Functional Performance Trends feature is available only when more than one assessment has been completed for the resident.

Accessing MDS / Assessment Functional Performance Trends

To use the MDS / Assessment Functional Performance Trends feature, follow these steps. 

1: On the 'Client' or 'Resident Overview' page, click on 'MDS / Assessment Functional Performance Trends' (you may need to scroll down).

2: Click on the dropdown arrow to reveal the list of 'MDS / Assessment Functional Performance' items.

3: Click on the box next to the item you want to compare.
